Alright Obama, You have another good excuse to push for the repeal of DADT. Don’t let us down.

  1. At the heart of this controversy is not the policy itself, but rather the implication that by “not asking” it has become acceptable to be; however, by “asking” we may have to stare into a dilemma of epic proportions.

When DADT first came around, I had been in the USN for ~3yrs. I thought to myself, good, now we’ll never know who’s who… glad I don’t know [and I can't ask] who likes child porn… glad I don’t know who likes to molest children… b/c if it was out in the open, there would be some hurtin’ fellas out there… the whole policy reeks because is pussy-foots around the real issue: MORALITY – homosexuality is a deviant and UNNATURAL behavior [there I said it... I've got the guts to call it what it is - remember the story of Sodom and Gomorrah?].

Denying our conscience that TELLS US WHAT TRUTH IS by rationalizing the guilt or shame away with a DADT never changed the fact that homosexuality is immoral, wrong, deviant, unnatural.

God created Adam and Eve – not Adam and Steve. If there were nothing wrong with homosexuality, no one would have ever felt guilt or shame over it… there wouldn’t have been a need for a stupid DADT policy. And don’t tell me that some animals tolerate homosexual behaviors… GIMME A BREAK – THEY’RE ANIMALS – I’m not! I’m HUMAN! I have a conscience; I have creativity; I have emotions and can philosophize and animals CANNOT! If you want to reduce yourself to animalistic behaviors, go ahead – but don’t cry when I don’t give you the respect that humans normally command.

This DADT policy was just a foreshadowing of things to come from the Clinton era – remember he told us, “I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Ms. Lewinski…” – oh, and did anyone ever figure out what “the” means? Get rid of the DADT policy because it should never have existed. IT DOESN’T CHANGE THE MORAL ABSOLUTE THAT BROUGHT ABOUT ITS CREATION. DADT only validates the moral basis against homosexuality. If I’ve nothing to hide – you can ASK ME ALL DAY LONG about my sexuality or integrity. The fact remains that Homosexuality has carried a universal guilt and shame – not because any person taught us to feel that way – but because we were designed and created to procreate and obey certain natural orders of life.

I don’t know ANYONE who has ever felt the need to tell me that they were HETEROSEXUAL… why not? Because it’s NATURAL!

  2. You know, I can respect somebody like Sailor D. Not because he’s even remotely right, but because he doesn’t try to conceal or justify his bigotry the way alot of modern day bigots do. He just comes right out and admits that he doesn’t feel gay people deserve “the respect that humans normally command.”

Monsters like him are probably more important in the fight to change public opinion that 1,000 loving gay couples could be (which is sad, but somewhat true).
