I’m not trying to be picky, and I’m far from the picture of perfect grammar, but it bugs me to see statements like this in print:
In the past seven years, Louisville-based Papa John’s International Inc. has made a lot of dough from online ordering — more than $1 billion to be exact.(emphasis mine)
How does one make exactly “more than $1 billion?”
