It’s been awhile since I have made a Feline Friday post. I saw this comic strip though and had to post it. It’s funny because it’s true.
Meanwhile, I’ll have to find a new place to keep the “T-R-E-A-T-S” as they’re called in our house.

I didn’t get this, but I’m not a math person, so charts tend to make my eyes glaze over and drool drip from the corner of my mouth. Maybe someone can explain it to the non-left brain segment of the population?

The graph illustrates the notion that as a human being approaches a cat the intelligence of the human being goes down, and the probability of said human making an inane statement goes up. It’s illustrated by the stick figure approaching the cat only to utter the obvious statement “You’re a kitty!” I know I do that with my cats frequently approaching them and being reduced to saying something like “That’s daddy’s baby boy” in a goofy “baby-talk” voice.
Thank you for submitting to yesterday’s Carnival of the Cats, hosted on my blog. Having a houseful of cats, the graph makes sense to me — I find often find myself more fluent in Cat than in English!

Thanks for the ’splaining, Dolphin!
This is very true. We tend to sing silly love songs to all of our cats, which makes us very silly indeed and the cats very annoyed.
