This is very true. We tend to sing silly love songs to all of our cats, which makes us very silly indeed and the cats very annoyed.</description>

The graph illustrates the notion that as a human being approaches a cat the intelligence of the human being goes down, and the probability of said human making an inane statement goes up.  It's illustrated by the stick figure approaching the cat only to utter the obvious statement "You're a kitty!"  I know I do that with my cats frequently approaching them and being reduced to saying something like "That's daddy's baby boy" in a goofy "baby-talk" voice.</description>
