Even that Florida mega-church pastor getting all this press for his "30 days of sex" thing is more evidence of it. And you're right on when you say "this photo wasn’t singled out for the quarter inch of crack showing, but rather for who owned that quarter inch of crack." Because, well, as a straight woman I, um, notice its appeal. Now, the tendency of A&F visual imagery is towards the male homoerotic, it's true. But that picture, in isolation, not so much. As for the attempt of the religious right to stage a scorched-earth retreat, you're correct. But I worry a bit about what they may finally accomplish before they are finally defeated.
