   I don’t know for sure. My understanding is that it is real but the result of a typo (somebody put the discount into the computer as “-10″ instead of 10,and the computer calculated the new price based on the old rpice and printed that out), rather than an actual “sale” price.

   I know there are enough fools out there to be taken in by something like that, and I’d like to think that no one is actually out there deliberately taking advantage of that foolishness.
