Simon Cowell is set to create a new movie which may as well just be called “American Idol: The Movie.”
The film, currently titled Star Struck, will tell the fictional story of 10 contestants in a singing contest.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, the former Pop Idol judge said: “We want it to be the musical version of Rocky – an underdog story, a feelgood film.”
Reality TV without the reality? I wonder if he’ll end the first movie half-way through so America can choose the winner for the sequel.
